Asia Cup 2016 Final
India won the Asia Cup Final and now they have become Asian Champions. Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan batted beautifully today. In the end MS Dhoni finished up the battle with a great six. Indian Cricket team have not lost a single contest in the entire tournament. They won all of the four group matches and finally qualified for the Asia Cup final. They bowled well today. Again Virat Kohli turned out to be the survivor for the Indian Cricket team. He won all of the matches for India. ICC T20 World Cup is ahead of this tournament and again Indian Cricket team is favorite to win this title having an advantage of home soil.

Sri Lanka vs UAE
The second match of the Asia Cup has
been taken place today. That was a tough contest between a weaker side and a
T20 world champion. Unexpectedly UAE performed very well against the stronger
side. UAE restricted Sri Lanka to a total of 129 runs. LD Chandimal remained
the highest scorer with 50 runs. TM Dilshan contributed a bit but rest of the
batsmen were not able to settle against the quality bowling attack. Amjad Javed
took 03 wickets and Ahmed Raza was outstanding by giving only 14 runs in his
four overs.
It was Sri Lankan Captain today
who saved the team from drastic defeat from his outstanding bowling. SL Malinga
took 04 wickets and 03 of the wickets were shared by KMDN Kulasekara just by giving
10 runs in his four overs. SL Malinga got player of the match award on his outstanding
bowling performance. From UAE’s side, SP Patil remained the highest scorer with
the bat. He scored 37 runs off 36 bowls. Rest of the batting department failed
against the quality bowling attack. India
and Sri Lanka won their matches, while Bangladesh and UAE got defeated in these
contests.
UAE’s performance has been
outstanding today as they have given a very tough time to one of the best T20
teams in the world.

Bangladesh vs India
India won the first Asia Cup
match today with having convincing victory over Bangladesh. The team continued
their winning form after defeating the T20 series to Australia by 3-0. Rohit
Sharma, the star batsman of Indian cricket showed great temperament and
character today to take his team to the winning stage. Indian team played first
and put 166 runs on the board having massive contribution from the right handed
opener scoring 83 runs off 55 bowls only.
HH Pandya made good contribution to
the end and made handy 31 runs. The all-rounder took 01 wicket as well. MS
Dhoni just faced last two bowls and made out handy 08 runs out of these. India
bowling was outstanding; they didn’t allow Bangladesh team to settle and took
wickets regularly. The highest scorer was Sabbir Rahman, who scored 44 runs on
32 bowls. Rest of the batting failed to compete against the quality bowling
attack.
Ashish Nehra who was brought back
into Indian lineup was outstanding, he took 03 wickets and didn’t give much
runs. Rest of the bowlers took 01 wicket each and they remained economical as
well. Finally India is able to get the right bowling combination for the
International contests. Bangladesh already defeated India at home in the
bilateral series, so this win will give confidence to Indian side.

Quick facts About Asia Cup
Asia Cup is for formally known as ACC Asia Cup. ACC is an
abbreviation of Asian Cricket Counsil. Five Teams will play in this contest.
Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates. The tournament will be
held in Bangladesh. Bangladesh could be considered favorites for this
tournament as they have an advantage of home ground. They already defeated
Pakistan and India in the bilateral series at the home ground.
